This app does not work. Apple should be testing these apps before allowing them to be available for sale in their app store.

This app creates mpeg-2 video only, which is still unreadable by Quicktime...a waste of time and money. Dont buy it...ps the support is in German so good luck there!

I have never suceeded to combime using this appl, I can not understand how to solve it, can you advice me how can I retune back my money...

Thank you Thomas, this app solved all my problems with multiple mpg files!! It merges multiple mpg files without problems and it is very fast!! :-)

While it claims that this utility merges VOB files into one just like other free utilities, there is no disclaimer that subtitles do not merge. Very misleading and sneaky. I guess it only costs 99 cents. They can keep my 99 cents.

The app doesnt work. It crashes every single time and after trying with over 10 DVDs. DO NOT BUY! RIP OFF!

This app is a gift only 0.99 does what it is programed to do! just drag your VOB files into the window select merg and out comes mpeg4 file. Im very satisfied. Thank you so much THOMAS GÜNZEL

I purchased because it makes the mp4 file. It does not. It only made an mpg file. Not as promoted.

The video it created was corrupt. Only VLC could play it. Ultimately I ended up downloading "Handbreak".

I was shocked how fast this converted or merged the video. Had it included sound when played with quicktime player I would have given this app a 5 Star rating. But if you use Quicktime then you will hear nothing. Only VLC plays sound when you use that program to play the converted file. Most files have 1 or 2 audio channels, but if you choose get info on the video it made it states it has 3 audio channels but again if you use Quicktime you will hear silence. That being said it is extremely fast, Quality is awesome, and again had the sound worked in QT I would have given it a 5 Star rating. Maybe they will fix this in future updates. If you have VLC and use it to play your videos then by all means give this a try. If I could have I would have given it a 3.5 rating but it is not worth a 4 star rating with the audio issues. It also does not make MP4 files only mpeg files. No prefs or adjustments to the program is a bummer. Also I would like to have seen when it was done that it did something to let me know it was finished. The bar did fill up but I was waiting for something else to happen like Done! Finished! or something. So with that and the audio i give it 3 Stars.

I tried it with a couple of collections of VOB files. It generated a .mpg file each time but I could not open it with QuickTime (w/Perian plugin installed). It comes with absolutely no documentation, instructions or help files at all.

This utility does, in fact, create an MPG file as advertised; unfortunately, the file was unplayable on my Mac (even with Perian installed or via VLC). Not exactly what I expected.

Had folder full of VOB files (4) and now I have one mpg in their place. I do use VLC though, so I dont feel any of the previous reviewers frustrations. For 99 cent, if your arent reliant on Quicktime as your video player, this is a bargain. I dock 1 star because it could have a more obvious "You are done" after merge, and to support those frustrated by the Quicktime incompatibility ; )

I purchased this app dispite the bad reviews and was pleasently supprised that it worked well! I was able to merge two vob files and the flow of the video was seamless. If you want to use this app you might want to also download mplayerx from the app store because it is an amazing player and its free. I changed the default player for the mpg file VOBMerge created so that all mpgs now play with mplayerx and it worked great! You can do that by rightclicking on the file that was created and click get info. There in that menu you can change the default player for that type of file and for all other files of the same type to mplayerx. Thanks for making this app and for making it a reasonable price!

What this App does:

It just doesnt work. It shows one large VOB at the end that is unplayable. Youre better off using Handbrake and just converting to M4V or MKV.
